Pop Princess Britney Spears announced yesterday on U.S. TV program Good Morning America that she will start a tour with Enrique Iglesias this summer. But before she increases the temperature several degrees on American stages with Spanish hottie, Enrique’s representative denied the news and reported that the ‘Addicted’ singer won’t be able to tour with her. Also his rep told that Enrique is very sorry for this confusion, the singer has great respect for Britney and he is a fan of her work.
While promoting the launch of her seventh studio album ‘Femme Fatale’ on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ Britney revealed that she is going on a tour that will start next June 17 in city of Sacramento, California and Enrique will join the stage with her. Hours later, Billboard dismissed the news reporting that the initial reports were based on formal discussions of the possible run and instead of the new tour with Britney; Enrique will continue his solo tour to promote his new studio album ‘Euphoria’.
Britney Spears is currently on eighth position on the all -time album sales list for female artist and according to The Recording Industry (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation of America the 29-year-old singer has sold about 32 million copies of her album in U.S. and over 100 million worldwide.
Recently, Britney also appeared in ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ with ‘Jack(–foul word(s) removed–)’ crew to promote her Femme Fatale. She was also planned for ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ but due to scheduling disagreements she has cancelled her appearance.
