Angel Guirado Aldeguer have proven his worth to be part of the team for he have scored the last 2 goals for the Philippine Azkals against the Bangladesh National Football Team. A welcome development for the emergence of Asia’s newest football crazy nation, the Philippines.
At around 54th to 55th minute Angel Aldeguer the reinforcement striker have scored for the Azkals. The score came when Araneta goes heads it down and Guirado finds space to head it into the back of the net. A goal for the Azkals giving them the lead 2-0.
The third goal was also came from the Filipino-Spanish Guirado. With 79th minute on the second half. Guirado picks up the loose ball and scores from the bottom left corner while shooting from 20 yards. The Azkals have scored another goal. It’s now 3-0 in favor of the Philippine Azkals.
With the Azkals win they have secured the second spot and move on to the next round. The Final standings of Group A were as follows: 1. Palestine – 7 points, 2. Philippines – 5 points, 3. Bangladesh – 3 points, and 4. Myanmar – 1 point.
The Bangladesh National Team’s effort to depend the Philippine Azkals were not enough to stop the rampaging Filipinos attacked and played with their best football.
The win will certainly be another celebrations for all the Filipinos around the world. A victory by the Philippine Azkals will further relived the spirit of football in the country. The way they played against Bangladesh was the kind of game the Filipinos have known the Azkals.
