Massive Quake Relief Operation in Japan

Countries Sending Personnel to Earthquake Devastated Japan

After the devastation brought about by Japan’s worst earthquake and tsunami ever recorded, massive relief operation have already started. Japan spearhead the rescue operation while the U.S. stationed personnel in Japan have offered help for immediate earthquake relief operation.

With an initial 50,000 military and rescue personnel mobilized by Japan, surrounding countries and closed allies to Japan have sent their help for the biggest ever-rescue and relief operation to the tsunami-hit country.

Hundreds of ships, aircrafts and rescue vehicles were heading to Japan for the rescue and retrieval operations. Government leaders from different parts of the world have extended their condolences and sympathy to the Japanese people and promised aid for the massive quake relief operation.

Members of Japanese earthquake response team in New Zealand have returned home to help their countrymen. Earthquake victim New Zealand will send their personnel to Japan as well. Australia also have promised to send their specialist team especially the sniffer dogs to help the tsunami hit Japan.

China, Israel, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Russia, Turkey, Germany, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Slovakia, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, Jordan, Britain, the European Union, Chile, Spain, Greece, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Argentina and Iceland have their rescue personnel on their way to Japan.

One of the crucial part of the rescue effort was the immediate response of the United States in rapidly sending a cooling agent to the nuclear power plant that have been experiencing malfunctions and a possible radiation.
