Kobe Bryant’s remarkable performance during the NBA All-Star Game between the East and the West NBA teams have once again proven his dominance and definitely shine as the brightest stars among the stars of 2011 NBA season.
Kobe have added another collection to his MVP trophies in the National Basketball (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation. He earned the highest honors during the NBA All-Star Game, an MVP award which was his fourth. Bryant had scored a total of 37 points and 8 rebounds in an awesome performance in the celebrity-filled Staples Center.
Kobe who had played for the West team was reinforced by the league-leading scorer Kevin Durant of Oklahoma City Thunder. Durant who scored 34 points for the West winning effort against the East which was lead by LeBron James who had an impressive performance for the losing team.
LeBron James was unable to stop the dominance of Kobe Bryant. His triple double performance was not enough to stop the west from capturing the coveted All-Star Game title. James had scored a total of 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists and match Michael Jordan’s triple double performance in an All-Star Game.
Kobe Bryant was supported by Russell Westbrook with 12 points, Chris Paul had 10 points, and Carmelo Anthony with 8 points. The league’s Slam Dunk Champion Blake Griffin have been doing great job in supporting Kobe Bryant. The final score for the 2011 All-Star Game was 148-143 in favor of the West All-Stars.
