Samsung has quickly upgraded its powerful tablet PC, Galaxy Tab, to 10.1 inch from previous 7-inch.
HTC in its desire to catch up with other manufacturer has also developed a new HTC Flyer, a 7-Inch, 1.5 GHz Tablet PC.
But what is lacking to HTC Flyer tablet is the new version of Android 3.0 or Honeycomb. The said tablet will use an improved version of Android Gingerbread.
A big question to most people is why they use Gingerbread in favor of Honeycomb. Well, may be HTC develop it prior to the release of Honeycomb.
The price of HTC Flyer is estimated at around $674 according to cnet with the following specs:

- 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (MSM8255)
- HDMI-port
- DLNA-enabled
- 5 megapixel camera
- 1.3 MP front-facing camera
- Android Gingerbread

- 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space
The device is about to release on second half of the year.
