Gay Marriage Supporter Increase to 56% from 51%

According to new poll, gay marriage has increase to 56% in 2011 from 51% last 2009. The report has taken from New York to legalized gay marriage. The survey is conducted by Quinnipiac University.

Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York did not make a big issue on same-sex marriage but said that he is into it and most New Yorkers during his state of the state speech.

Empire State Pride Agenda boss Ross Levi said “loving same-sex couples in New York can finally protect each other and their children just like any other family.”

The support split down from the party lines, with 55% of independent voters and 69% of Democrats onboard, whereas the Republicans by majority are opposing with it. Furthermore, the city wants a gay marriage with 55% vote.

Gov. Cuomo has promise to push the legality of gay marriage as the poll popularity have been elevated.

If gay marriage will be allowed on most countries, what will happen to the Religious group who denied and against with this act?
