Larry Page one of the co-founders of Google, the world’s largest search engine company will have a change in leadership. Eric Schmidt will (–foul word(s) removed–)ume the role as Executive Chairman of the company. Meanwhile the other co-founder of Google Sergey Brin will focus mainly on strategic projects particularly on new products development. The change of leadership will take effect on April 4, 2011.

Google live earning goes solid even at the announced change of leadership from Schmidt to Larry Page. Revenue minus traffic acquisition came in at $8.44 billion in the fourth quarter of 2010. Other google-owned sites were generating huge amounts of income also. As of December 31, 2010, google cash, and cash equivalents, and marketable securities were worth $35 billion.

Larry Page have been CEO of Google from its founding years 1998 to 2001. He was replaced by Eric Schmidt afterwards. Larry Page was born from a Jewish parents in March Lansing, Michigan on March 26, 1973. He was married to Lucinda Southworth. He has an estimated net worth of $15 billion dollars as of 2010.

Larry Page was also an investor at Tesla Motors one of the leading companies that developed renewable technology as well as alternative energy investments. Larry Page and Sergey Brin have developed Google at Stanford University website meanwhile Mark Zuckerberg developed Facebook at the dorm of Harvard University.

Google Incorporated as of this writing had already  employed 24,400 full-time employees , up from 23,331 full-time employees as of September 30, 2010. With such numbers of people who are working with Google surely Larry Page will get more help from his co-workers.
