Conviction Movie

Although this is an old movie review but I would like to give this a try because I really love watching this movie. I just finished watching it last night and this movie really change my whole point of view of the corrupt justices that sometimes happen to our beloved world.

Conviction is directed by Tony Goldwyn and released last October 15, 2010. The two important characters here are Hilary Swank as Betty Anne Waters and Sam Rockwell as her brother Kenneth Waters.

Betty Anne Waters play an important role here. She spends a lot of time thinking how she can help her brother out of the jail. Her undying support with her brother Kenneth Waters sends here to a Law school. She almost gives up her family in behalf of her brother. Her husband file a divorce and she raise her two sons working as a part-time waitress and at the same time studying from GED, to bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and finally a Law school.

While studying at Law school she found out that there are some cases who freed innocent convict out of the jail by using the DNA test. Barry Scheck helps her, an attorney at Innocence Project, a nonprofit organization devoted to overturning wrongful convictions.

With over 16 years of imprisonment of her brother Kenneth Waters, the love, courage, determination is the key to her success. This extraordinary act of Betty Anne Waters can really captivates the feelings of every person who watch this movie.

This further proves us that winning a battle is not to quit easily with temporary defeat.
