Vice Governor Jun Bacorro Slammed By Netizens As His Bodyguard Holds Umbrella For Him While Walking In The Midst Of The Rain With VP Robredo

Netizens slams Vice Governor Jun Bacorro as his bodyguard holds an umbrella for him while walking together with VP Leni Robredo.

Boac, Marinduque Vice Governor Doc Jun Bacorro was slammed by netizens after his photo with his security guard holding an umbrella for while walking with Vice President Leni Robredo to visit the residence of Barangay Lupac, Boac in Marinduque.

VP Robredo went to Boac, Marinduque to visit the victims of the Typhoon Nina. The typhoon struck the Philippines last December 27, 2016, which devastated the country during the Christmas season. The typhoon took the lives of six people and almost 380, 000 people were affected.

Residents of Boac were forced to leave their homes and abandoned their Christmas celebration just to transfer on safer grounds. The typhoon victims evacuated to emergency centers and immediately needs help from the government.

A viral photo during VP Robredo’s visit on typhoon victims, it is noticeable that Bacorro is hiding in umbrella holding by his security guard, while Robredo was just wearing a jacket in the midst of a heavy rain.

The viral photo draws flak from the netizens giving their negative feedbacks on Bacorro’s action. Netizens lambasted the vice governor for not being a gentleman. Some of the comments said “hiyang-hiya naman si VP kay Vice Gov., may tagapayong talaga?”
