2 teaspoons turmeric
1l water
400g brown sugar
1 small piece ginger root

Boil water in a large pot and pour the brown sugar. Add the ginger root, onion, turmeric, and grated ginger. Reduce the heat when the mixture starts to boil and let it cool, then store it in the refrigerator.

Usage:
