DOLE Issues Memorandum With Regards To ‘Endo’

DOLE issues a memorandum on the move to abolish the End of Contract.

DOLE Issues – The Department of Labor and Employment currently takes action on the issue of removing the ‘end of contract’ or more commonly known as ‘endo’.

Many employees desire for a stable job that could go for years but at times the ‘endo’ makes it impossible to happen and they have to look for another job after a few months in a certain work.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte wanted to abolish the end of contract in the Philippines for the benefit of the employees who aims for stable jobs to support their families.

Recently, ABS-CBN posted a report on the memorandum released by DOLE with regards to the move on abolishing ‘endo’ in the world of Philippine employment.

The memorandum signifies the start of the investigation on the companies and it will be done by the labor investigators disseminated in the companies  to check the status of the employees according to Secretary Silvestre Belo III, DOLE Secretary.

  1. In Government sector,specially in LGU ,who runs the Hospital they are only employing Job Order for Nurses.What is the move of our new Government?

  2. Ang ginawa kasi ni Lucio Tan, yung trabaho ng mga ni-lay off nyang around 2000 REGULAR employees s apanahon ni Pnoy, pinalitan nya ng tao mula sa service provider na pagmamay-ari nya rin naman. Minimum waged employees na nga but upon computation eh underpaid pa rin. San ka ba naman makakakita ng overtime mo eh 10 pesos lang. Mga gamit at uniform, tatak PAL pero sahod at benefits, hindi pa naka-kalahati sa sinasahod ng regular PAL employees. Yung regular employees nya sa outlying station naging overseer nalang. Wala namang ginagawa kasi lahat iniuutos lahat doon sa mga service provider. Sumusweldo ng malaki yan pero petiks! Hustisya naman sa mga hinire ninyong college grads, nag apply, pinasa lahat ng training nyo tapos tinali nyo pa sa “training bond” na worth 50,000 good for two years, mababa pa ang sahod. Pakitanong po ang mga empleyado sa Mindanao station kung magkano ang sinasahod nila. Yung employment contract, hindi binigyan ng kopya ang empleyado tapos kung kelan inaudit ng DOLE saka nila binigay. dati ang sabi, bawal daw ibigay. Nakakahiya kayo MACRO! Yung kontrata, Permanent Project based subject to renewal. Eh ilang taon na bang nag-ooperate ang PAL para sabihing project based pa rin ang kompanyang yan sa mga dating estasyon? Alam nyo ba ang ginawa ni LT sa mga regular employees nya dati? hindi lang basta regular employees, dahil yung mga empleyadong yun ay angsilbi sa kompanya ng 20-30 years. inofferan para magresign kahit di pa nakapatong sa 60s. noong walang pumayag, pinadala nya ang HR staff at lawyer para basahan ang mga regular employees kung hanggang kelan nalang sila kelangan sa kompanya. yung mga ayaw pang magretire, nawalan ng trabaho dahil sa AGARANG pag end ng employment nila. Yung mga di pumirma, take it or leave it ang case. matutuwa ba kayo sa ganyang kalakaran? sobrang unfair.si LT pinayaman ng mga empleyado nya, tingnan nyo naman ang binalik nya sa mga loyal sa kompanya nya.
