One of the international contestant during the hit TV show “I Love OPM,” Samoan aspiring singer Nelson Leausa wowed the judges and the live audiences of the show with his spectacular performance on Sunday night. The Samoan missionary from Australia performed the song “Bakit Pa Ba” of Jay R.
Nelson Leausa, the Samoan missionary who showcased his singing talents in the country’s latest singing contest, spent months in the Philippines as a missionary. He was able to touch the hearts and minds of the judges and the show’s thousands of viewers.
Lani Misalucha was so impressed with the Samoan missionary’s performance and stated “Thank you so much at na-impress mo ako. Ang ganda ng boses mo. I’m very happy at bumalik ka dito para handugan mo kami ng boses mo,” Lani Misalucha said.
Martin Nievera, for his part, added: “Para sa akin ang secret weapon mo ay ‘yung puso mo, your heart. You love the Philippines, you love the Lord. Be a blessing, Nelson.”
“Para sa akin, ang tingin ko na sa iyo, Filipino. Kasi ang mga Filipino, mapagmahal sa mga magulang,” Toni Gonzaga said.
