“A Second Chance” Earned P100 Million Box Office Income in Just Three Days

The John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo movie titled “A Second Chance,” has earned more than P100 million in box office income after just three days in cinemas nationwide, as the movie became one of the highest-grossing non-MMMF movie in the history of Philippine cinema.

The latest movie offering from Star Cinema, ABS-CBN’s film outfit already broke the records of the highest opening day box office movie with it’s P43.3 million debut. It is now considered as the Philippine highest grossing non-Metro Manila Film Festival movie on its opening day.

“A Second Chance,” broke the records set by movie “Crazy Beautiful You,” whose P32 million box office income was previously named as the highest grossing movie, top-billed by Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.

The movie “A Second Chance” revisits the lives of Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha (Bea Alonzo) as they as they traverse the highs and lows of married life. It also stars Dimples Romana, James Blanco, Bea Saw, Janus del Prado, and Ahron Villena.

Star Cinema also announced that more and more movie outfits across the country are clamoring for the movie. A Second Chance is now showing in more than 340 cinemas nationwide.
