Felix Manalo Now the Highest Grossing Non-Holiday Film Opening of All Time

The highly anticipated movie Felix Manalo featuring the life story of one of the country’s most prominent religious leader the founder of Iglesia Ni Cristo, Felix Manalo is now considered as the highest grossing non-holiday film opening of all time, exceeding all records of all foreign and local films in the Philippines.

According to the producers of the movie, Viva Films, the movie “Felix Manalo” is already a certified box office hit even during the first day of nationwide showing in more than 300 cinemas nationwide.

The producers also added further due to insistent public demand, the movie is now being shown in over 400 cinemas nationwide. Starting on October 8, 2015, moviegoers can watch the record-breaking film as early as 8:00 AM in all SM and Robinsons cinemas nationwide.

SM Cinemas also confirmed that a late-night screening at 11:30 PM is also opens at selected SM Cinemas to accommodate the ever-growing number of audiences.

Although Viva Films confirmed the record breaking box office performance of “Felix Manalo,” they could not give an exact figures of how much the total box office income of the movie.

The movie Felix Manalo already made history being the biggest-budgeted local movie and the first movie hold the Guinness World Record for the largest grand premiere night attended by more than 50,000 moviegoers.

Felix Manalo is set to break the box office records of Star Cinema and set to conquer the box office earnings records in the Philippines as the highest grossing movies of all time.
