Sassa Dagdag will move on to the Sing-Offs of The Voice Kids Season 2 after she won the Battle Rounds of the country’s most popular singing competition as she defeated fellow Team Bamboo artists Nikki Apolinar and Alexis Prieto. The Kamp Kawayan trio performed the song the 80’s hit “Hold On.”

The 12-year-old Sassa Dagdag will move on to the next round of the singing competition, the trio performed well during their piece but according to their mentor, they performed better at rehearsals.
According to Coach Sarah, she was praised with the trio for their excellent blending during the Battle Rounds and chose Sassa Dagdag as her favorite together with coach Lea Salonga, who noted Sassa Dagdag’s confidence during their piece.
Coach Bamboo on his part was a little disappointed with the performance of his team, as he was quoted as saying “We’ve done this better. Noong binigyan ko kayo ng specific lines, may gagawin kayo sa kanta na ‘yun, and to be honest, hindi niyo nabigay sa akin ‘yun. I wanted more, I’m a hard guy to please. But then I was happy, on some level. Pinag-usapan natin, hindi maiiwan ‘yung isa. This only works when that happens,” he said, before choosing Dagdag as well.
Sassa Dagdag will be moving to the next round, along with Altair Aguelo, Elha Nympha, Benedict Inciong and Martina Ortiz-Luis, as part of Kamp Kawayan.
