Manny Pacquiao Ranked Second in the World’s 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities

The Filipino boxing icon, Manny Pacquiao ranked No.2 in the elite list of the World’s 100 Highest Paid Celebrities according to the results released by world-renowned publication, Forbes. Manny Pacquiao is second behind his rival Floyd Mayweather who is considered as the no. 1 highest paid celebrities this year.

Both boxers were considered as the top two highest paid celebrities after their lucrative clash in Las Vegas last month, in which Mayweather got a huge slice of the pie in the mega fight of the century that broke numerous records in terms of revenues.

According to Forbes estimates, the undefeated American boxer has an estimated earnings of $300 million over the past 12 months while Manny Pacquiao came in second place, making $160 million over the past 12 months.

Forbes estimates of the two boxer’s earnings were based on what experts have described as the richest fight in boxing history, because the official earnings during the May 2 bout have not yet been disclosed to the public.
