Anggun Cries Over “El Gamma Penumbra’s” AGT Grand Finals Performance Video

One of the judges in the most popular talent competition in the region, Asia’s Got Talent judge Anggun, cries over the grand finals performance of the Filipino shadow play group El Gamma Penumbra durin the Thursday’s episode of the top-rating show. The Filipino finalist delivered a powerful message about the environment.

El Gamma Penumbra, the phenomenal gropu from Batangas, Philippines took the stage at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore with a powerful number featuring their best shadow play on how they tackled several global issues such as illegal poaching, dynamite fishing, and the rising flood levels brought about by super typhoons.

Indonesian superstar Anggun, the judge who brought the group directly to the semi-finals during their audition piece when she pressed the “golden buzzer” was so emotional during the performance of the Filipinos on stage as she couldn’t hold her tears.

Although Anggun promised not to cry during the group’s finale performance, the Indonesian star noted that the group raised awareness on how important mother nature and animals are more than ever.

Aside from El Gamma Penumbra, the three other Filipino contestants who made it to the finals of the competition are Gwyneth Dorado, Gerphil Flores and Junior New System. The winner of Asia’s Got Talent 2015 will be announced next Thursday.
