The viral photo had the following caption: “This is interesring, Paquiao was the Red corner, Mayweather was the Blue corner, official judges appeared to have given the points to Paquiao yet result was a reverse, look what is hand written in the bottom of the score card on the right?”
Netizens shared the viral photo online, questioning the decision of the judges pointing out the corners of both boxer, Manny Pacquiao was at the Red Corner, while his opponent, Floyd Mayweather was fighting for the Blue Corner.
Facebook user Chris Cooke was able to notice first that the scores might have been swapped. If we check the image above, we can observer that Manny Pacquiao sat in the Red corner while Floyd Mayweather sat in the Blue corner. Based upon their respective corners it is clearly seen that the Red corner won the fight.
There are some netizens who questions the validity of the picture, a Facebook user commented that the photo was taken from a well-known website based in the United Kingdom, The Daily Mail Online.
