WWE Champion Dave Bautista to Star as the New James Bond Villain

Part-Filipino Dave Bautista, the former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) world champion will star in the newest James Bond film’s latest villain as revealed by Empire Magazine. The breakout stars in the Hollywood hit “Guardians of the Galaxy” will star opposite Daniel Craig the main character of the spy movie James Bond.

The latest James Bond movie featuring Daniel Craig will be the 24th installment of the popular spy series originally written by Ian Fleming. The movie is directed by Sam Mendes and is scheduled to hit international theaters this coming November 2015.

Daniel Craig will once again featured as the main character of the James Bond movie which will be titled as “Spectre.” The James Bond movie will also feature Christopher Waltz, and French star Léa Seydoux. Dave Bautista will play the role of the villain named Mr. Hinx.

According to Dave Bautista in an interview with Empire Magazine, the former WWE champion noted that when he meet with director Sam Mendes, he just asked two questions.

“I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, ‘Yes, he’s a badass.’ I said, ‘Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?’ He said, ‘Very.’ That’s what I like about Mr. Hinx. He’s very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I’m not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is,” he shared.

The 45-year-old Dave Bautista is proud of his Filipino roots, he even tattooed the Philippine flag alongside the Greek flag on his body which was easily visible during his wrestling days.
