Philippines Can Host the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup

The Philippines can hold the world’s most popular basketball competition featuring the best basketball stars of the world, the FIBA Basketball World Cup which the country is aiming to host this coming 2019. FIBA Representatives visited the country to (–foul word(s) removed–)s the capability of the country to host the world cup of basketball.

Top officials of FIBA including FIBA Secretary General Patrick Baumann joined the visiting FIBA officials to the country. In a press conference held on Friday, the FIBA Secretary General noted that the Philippines is capable of hosting the FIBA World Cup in 2019.

The world basketball governing body, FIBA, held an evaluation and ocular inspection for the possible venues of the upcoming FIBA World Cup.

FIBA Secretary General Patrick Baumann said in a press conference that “The Philippines can host the World Cup,” Baumann said at the Makati Shangri-La hotel. “Yes they can.” “I wish you luck, but I think you’re ready.” he added.

The FIBA evaluation committee checked the Philippines capability as they inspect possible venues, hotels, healthcare services, telecom lines and many other facilities that are integral for the country’s bid to host the World Cup.
