Kapamilya actress and host Kris Aquino has opened up about her reconciliation with comedian Ai-Ai delas Alas which happened before the royal wedding of Kapuso stars Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes on December 30, 2014.

In the live episode of “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Tuesday January 6, 2015, the “Feng Shui” star said that she anticipated crossing paths with Ai-Ai delas Alas in the wedding and she thinks that it would be a good time to patch up things between them.
The “Sisterakas” co-stars haven’t spoken to each other for a year when their rift reportedly started from Kris Aquino’s absence when Ai-Ai delas Alas biological mother passed away in 2013.
Kris Aquino admitted that she had intentions to reconcile with the 50-year-old star at the wedding so she prepared a gift for her. She bought a necklace to the actress with pendants depicting the Virgin Mary.
“Magaan na we don’t have to avoid each other, na ang dami naming mutual friends na hindi malalgay sa alanganin. I think it’s also a testament talaga kung nasaan kami ngayon sa mga parte ng buhay namin, kaya may maturity na. It’s an answered prayer!” she added.
Kris Aquino revealed that Ai-Ai delas Alas texted her on the same day they and thanked her for the gift and they had a conversation through text message when she recently went to Japan to celebrate the New Year.
