Three of the most popular Kapamilya artists, namely Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo and Vice Ganda became the newest members of the elite list of artists who have their own star in the country’s version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Eastwood Walk of Fame, located at Eastwood City, Quezon City.
The unveiling of the three Kapamilya stars in the popular Eastwood Walk of Fame was held on Monday, December 1, 2014 featuring the original curator of the project, veteran TV host German Moreno.
The Eastwood Walk of Fame was created by the Master Showman German Moreno after a recommendation from Boots Anson Roa. The Eastwood Walk of Fame is located in Eastwood City, a 17 hectares commercial and residential development at the Libis area of Quezon City.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Daniel Padilla stated that he owes his star on the Eastwood Walk of Fame to his supporters, he even joked to the media that he will surely clean his star at the Eastwood Walk of Fame.
According to Kathryn Bernardo on her part, she noted that having her own star gives her a sense of fulfillment as an actress, and a dream come true for her. Vice Ganda also commented that he never thought of seeing his name on the Walk of Fame considering that he has not been in showbiz for long.
During the December unveiling of the Eastwood Walk of Fame, other celebrities who were given their own stars include Angel Aquino, Tom Rodriguez, Aiko Melendez, Sylvia Sanchez, Dante Rivero, Jaya, Liza Macuja, Cory Qurino, Jestoni Alarcon and Willie Revillame to name a few.
