The newest Filipino YouTube singing sensation Roland “Bunot” Abante was invited by the Ellen DeGeneres Show as confirmed by the original uploader of Bunot’s highly popular video rendition of “To Love Somebody.” The viral video of Bunot had already garnered more than half a million views and still counting on YouTube.

A few days ago, YouTube user Tricia Maricel Mendoza uploaded a video of Bunot peforming the Bee Gees classic and one of Michael Bolton’s hit song “To Love Somebody” in the world’s largest video-sharing site. Netizens went crazy after they saw the remarkable performance of the aspiring singer from Cebu.
The gifted Cebuano singer was well-loved by netizens who enjoyed his karaoke performance, the video went viral immediately on YouTube and posted on various blogs in the country.
According to YouTube user Tricia Maricel Mendoza, who now served as Bunot’s manager, they were contacted by an agent of an American TV Network NBC and invited them as a guest in one of the world’s most popular talk show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
The reports of invitation was received happily by the Cebuano Karaoke Singing Sensation, Roland “Bunot” Abante. Aside from Bunot’s version of “To Love Somebody,” other videos of the karaoke singer emerged online during the past few days.
