The Professional Regulation Commission released the official results of the November 2014 Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Aside from the official list of passers, the List of Topnotchers (Top 10 Passers) were also released by the PRC after two (2) working days from the last day of exam.
According to the list of topnotchers released by the PRC, Laurence Riomalos from John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Arevalo topped the Master Mariner Licensure Examination (Written Phase) with an average ratings of 86.20%.
Mark Phillips Tan Faller From Capital University (former Cagayan Capitol College) ranked as the No. 1 topnotchers in the November 2014 Chief Mate Licensure Examination (Written Phase) with an average ratings of 87.40%.
For the November 2014 Officer-In-Charge of a Navigational Watch Licensure Examination, Mateo Rebancos Opiana from Inter-Global College Foundation, Inc. (For. IGMC) in Lucena City topped the examination with an average rating os 95.00%.
The PRC announced on Wednesday that a total of 40 out of 114 passed the Master Mariner Licensure Examination, 263 out of 678 passed the Chief Mate Licensure Examination and 1,329 out of 2,529 passed the Officer-In-Charge of a Navigational Watch Licensure Examination.
