The kapamilya actress and comedian Angelica Panganiban said she has become “picky” in accepting projects that is why her fans don’t always see her in films or television shows.
In an interview with “The Buzz” on Sunday October 26, the former child star said she wants to do a project that is new to everyone’s eyes because she don’t want to waste their money and time for something they have already watched before.
“Ayaw kong sayangin yung pera ng mga tao. Ayaw kong sayang ‘yung panahon nila na papanoorin nila ako sa TV or sa pelikula na ‘Ay nakita ko na ito, napanood ko na ito.’ Gusto ko kapag pinapanood na nila ako, kapag nagbibigay sila ng oras sa akin, sulit ‘yun. Yung ‘Sulit yung pera ko kay natuwa kami kay Angelica ngayon,’” she said.
The 27-year-old actress said that her home network is always there to give her job, but she believes that her “picky” attitude makes her fans and supporters more excited to see her every time she has a new project, either on big screen or television.
“Siguro kasi sobra akong mapili sa trabaho. Siyempre naman yung network nandiyan naman talaga. Hindi ka naman pinpabayaan. Marami naman talagang mga binibigay sa ‘yong mga option or trabaho kaya lang siguro isa rin ‘yun sa sikreto ko, sa key para siguro mas nanggigigil sa ‘yo ang mga tao,” she added.
Meanwhile, Angelica Panganiban is currently promoting her upcoming movie “Beauty in a Bottle” with Assunta de Rossi and Angeline Quinto. The film will open in theaters nationwide on October 29.
