Candidate No. 27 of It’s Showtime’s Gandang Lalaki Grand Finals, Nikko Seagal “Sig” Natividad was declared as the first-ever winner of the competition during the grand finals held on Saturday, October 18, 2014. The waiter from Malolos City, Bulacan joined the competition during the September 19 edition of the show.
The 21-year-old Nikko Seagal Natividad worked as a waiter in a casual restaurant. During his first appearance on national TV, Nikko Natividad was asked if knows how to cook, he replied that he only know how to cook home-cooked foods like Adobo and Tinola.
During the Grand Finals of Gandang Lalaki, fans and followers of the finalist and It’s Showtime fans was successful in making the hashtags #GandangLalakeGrandFinals as one of the top Trending topics not only in the Philippines but also worldwide.
Aside from Nikko Natividad, candidate No. 48, Jiad Arroyo, a guitar coach was declared as the second runner-up, while candidate No. 6, No. 22, and No. 16 came in second, third and fourth respectively.
