The motorist particularly Joann was so frightened when one of the policeman approached them thinking that the police might give them a ticket and force them to be towed. The policeman, who was identified later, asked them where they lived and the couple told him that they we’re from Montalban and supposed to attend a family day.

“He asked where we lived and I told him that we’re from Montalban and supposed to attend a family day. He checked the car, and he found what caused the problem — the contact point in the distribution assembly broke.”

“Good thing we have a spare! So he guided my husband in replacing it and adjusted the installation until the car went live again. He stayed with us to make sure that everything was alright.”

“We offered him a small amount for merienda but he turned it down. I took the liberty to snap some candid pictures while he was fixing our car as he may not allow me to do it once he’s done.”
