PH Arena Confirmed Hosting For PBA Opening Day

Philippine Arena or also known as the Ciudad De Victoria of Iglesia ni Kristo was been officially declared suitable for hosting the 40th Season of Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It was when after Commissioner Chito Salud had inspected the venue.

According to the news, Salud said that though they are still ironing out the final terms of engagement, PH Arena itself is already ready for PBA games.

“We are now ironing out the final terms of engagement. But the Philippine Arena is ready for the PBA,” he said. This is based on ABS-CBN News. The said PBA season is set to happen this October 19, 2014.

It’s double header opening day league will be announced this Monday, September 22, 2014. In which they are still waiting for the final decision of their lease of contract for the said venue.

Based on the earlier news, Salud already revealed that the opening day will be a possible game between Kia Motors and Blackwater Sports. It could also be a match between Barangay Ginebra and Talk ‘N Text. But still, nothing is confirmed yet at the moment.

Actually, boxing champ Manny Pacquiao is said to be available on the opening day. In which through this, people will witness his PBA coaching and playing for the very first time.

PH Arena with its indoor arena had a maximum of 55, 000 seating capacity. This is located at Bocaue and Santa Maria, Bulacan.
