An ordinary Filipino chef became the newest YouTube sensation not only in Europe but also worldwide because of his extra-ordinary skills in cooking. His antics and performance during a cooking session with his customers was caught on camera and posted on YouTube that went viral online. The YouTube video was originally posted by one of the Filipino Chef’s customers identified as Jeff Alajar. It was posted last July 10, 2014 and since then already garnered more than 200,000 views on YouTube and was featured on various websites and news media organization not only in London but also in the Philippines.

The Filipino chef was identified as Chef Charlie Bueno, some netizens referred him as Charles Miguel, he works at a Japanese restaurant, Benihana in Piccadilly, where the video was filmed.

The newest viral sensation, “Funny Filipino Chef” became famous for his upbeat demeanor, playful personality and acrobatic cooking skills, turned the 41-year-old cook into an internet star.

According to ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau, Chef Charlie Buena moved to the United Kingdom during the year 2006 after working in Manila and Dubai for several years. He formerly worked a dishwasher at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in 1990 and worked his way up the culinary industry.

He became a self-taught chef has already achieved something from his simple beginnings, he already cooked VIPs from Asia to Europe, including the royalties from the Netherlands and Dubai, British pop icons like Brian May from Queen and Ronan Keating from Boyzone.
