Manny Valencia who was a former delivery boy was now the owner of Joshua’s Meat Products. According to him, the perfect recipe for his success was equal parts of hard work and good luck.
Valencia lives in Laguna who grew up being a young boy.
He lived in a comfortable life until his fruit vendor father had become addicted to gambling. His father spend all his earnings on gambling. It then caused their family to be torn apart.
With this, Valencia admitted that he loss hope. He was relying on his father that time but still, he just disappointed them.
Until then, Valencia had left home. He lived in his aunt for about 10 years. In there, he have studied by himself only using his earnings from his part time job being a delivery boy. He strives hard to become successful at the end.
According to him, “Medyo nagalit ako pero naintindihan ko din na mas mabuting doon na ako sa tiyahin ko kasi makakapag-aral ako kaysa nandoon kami sa amin. Tinanggap ko na din ang sitwasyon na kailangan namin maghiwa-hiwalay dahil sa hirap ng buhay.”
He also said that his life became better when he finally learned to forgive and reunite with his father. That’s then his luck started.
After then, he started his “longganisa” business which he got his recipe from a meat supplier who have passed away.
He managed his business with God as his inspiration and honesty on other people. His “longganisa” business had expanded having now ham, burger patties, tocino, hotdogs and bologna as it’s new products.
His story is another inspiration for everybody. Indeed, nothing is really a hindrance to reach your dreams in life. All you have to do is just to believe and work hard.
