Religious group Iglesia ni Cristo will be celebrating its 100 years tomorrow, July 27, 2014. There will be a total of 1 million followers who are expected to join the said celebration.
INC was established in Manila from July 27, 1914 by Felix Manalo. He was a charismatic Catholic raised man who became a Protestant preacher and then founded his own religion. He proclaimed himself as the last messenger of God.
They will be celebrating in the Philippine Arena which is considered as the world’s largest arena.
Teachings on INC insists that the only members to qualify salvation will be them. It is also taught to them that they can only date and marry their fellow INC members. They can never separate.
INC also has a reputation for carrying out much more intense missionary work than Catholic Church.
There is a political ruling for them. They must only vote according to the verdict of the church’s leader during national elections. Through it, politicians pay much attention on them.

Lastly, their newly made arena was completely financed by the “offerings of the brethren.”
