FAMAS Awards 2014 Official List of Nominees

The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences, Inc. (FAMAS) revealed the official list of nominees for the FAMAS Awards 2014. The awarding ceremony of the country’s most popular movie recognizing body will be held at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Entertainment City, Parañaque City on July 13, 2014.

The 62nd FAMAS Annual Awards will showcase and give recognition to the local films which reigned in its respective categories. The awards night will also feature some of the renowned stars in the country.

FAMAS Awards 2014 will staged the most popular movies in the country including the entries of 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival introducing 10,000 Hours which won big in the prestige movie festival.

  1. I still cant believe pagpag was one of the nominees for best picture and best director and as well as best actor. Do u think famas dont have any choice? Thats why they added the film just because they cant think of better films to nominate? Nominating the film is like nominating kim chiu for her performance in the healing….

  2. why the famas cut off their acting nominations up to ten (lead roles) and eight (supporting roles)? ten and eight is too much, i hope they cut it off to five, which is enough. too many nominees is like reducing the prominence and standards of the award giving body. since its hard to hunt actors with brilliant performances in the philippine cinema now a days.
