Nonito Donaire Defeated Darchinyan via 9th Round KO (Video)

Philippine pride, Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire defeated Vic Darchinyan via Knock Out (KO) in the 9th round on Sunday (Manila Time) at the American Bank Center, in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.

The 30-year-old Donaire (32-2, 21 KO’s) finished the 37-year-old Vic Darchinyan (39-6-1, 28 KO’s) and showcased his boxing skills to defeat once again, Darchinyan on their rematch.

Donaire looks confident and his reflexes proved more powerful compared to Darchinyan although he was looked bad for 8 rounds and was taking a beating from Darchinyan, but in the 9th round he caught Darchinyan down with a left hand to put him on the canvas.

Vic Darchinyan tried to get back on his feet, but Donaire landed another tremendous blows to the body and the head of Darchinyan until referee Lawrence Cole stepped in to halt the bout at around 2:05 in the 9th round.
