Arnold Clavio is now the hottest topic on social media in the Philippines as he dominated the Twitter Trending topics for the past two days right after his unprofessional video interview with Napoles lawyer, Atty. Alfredo Villamor went viral online.
The video that was first posted by YouTube user Trending2013 have already garnered more than 280K views and still counting as of the moment. The 48-year-old Arnolod Clavio is also the target of netizens who urged GMA7 to act on the said manners of their news anchor.
The keyword “Arnold Clavio” is one of the longest Twitter trending topics in the Philippines since yesterday, right now Arnold Clavio’s name is still visible in the local Twitter trending topics.
This is not the first time that Arnold Clavio became the hottest topic on social media in the Philippines, he got the attentions of netizens when he made a racist comments against the players of the Philippine Azkals.
Arnold Clavio’s rude side comments during the interview caught the attention of netizens this time causing some social media users frustrated with the way he deals with his guests.

“Sino na ho ba dapat talaga ang kausapin namin dito?” asked Clavio. (Who should we talk to?)
“When it comes to the serious illegal detention case po, as I’ve said, ako po ‘yung lawyer. Pagdating po sa PDAF, hindi po ako ang abogado…” replied Villamor. (When it comes to the serious illegal detention case, as I’ve said, I am the lawyer. When it comes to the PDAF, I am not the lawyer.)
Clavio interrupts, “Kaya nga po binabalikan ko po… Pang-sira ka ng araw. Kaya nga sinasabi ko ‘yungillegal detention case, attorney… Kayo ho ba opisyal na humaharap na katawan niya ? Abogado kayo ‘dun? (Villamor tried to speak) Binago ko na nga. Tatawa-tawa ka pa.” (That’s why I went back. You’re a day ruiner. That’s why I’m saying on the serious illegal detention case, attorney… Are you her official representative? Are you her lawyer for that? … I changed it. You’re even laughing.”

I usually do not post comments anywhere but I really can’t stand people who judge rashly. I had to give my two cents.
Siguro before anyone comments on something, just get your facts straight. Anyone who pays taxes should be enraged with anyone even remotely connected to Napoles.
The higher your salary is, the angrier you should be. What’s wrong with people thesedays? Can’t people just think before they actually say something?
I wouldn’t blame Arnold for being annoyed at this guy for saying that he only counsels on the detention case. I’m sure he feels bad for the huge cut of his salary that goes to taxes and straight to these selfish people instead of the development of the country! I should say that she should stay in detention!
You are all mad at murderers who kill one or a dozen people. But these embezzlers stole money that could have saved tens of thousands of people’s lives — people who needed food and died lacking it, the people needing shelter who die on the streets, the people who died because of lack of medicine and basic needs. These so called “lawmakers” and government officials ganged up on us, stole our money, and used it for personal gain! Wake up people!
di ka pa rin dapat maging bastos, kung ninakawan man tayo sa tax na binabayad natin, pera yun, kikitain mo yun, pero yung dahil lang nagalit ka dahil taxpayer ka tapos mawawalan ka ng tamang asal at respeto, medyo it costs more than money na nawala sa iyo. Dignity and self control is priceless quality ng isang tao, yun dapat ang hindi pwedeng matumbasan ng pera at itatapon mo kapalit ng galit. Magaling siguro si Arnold C., pero he lost the respect and trust that i have for him kasi wala syang self-control sa emotion nya.
