A combination of karaoke singing and a spelling bee-style competition, “The Singing Bee” show features contestants trying to remember the lyrics to popular songs.
The game show is set to return to ABS-CBN with its latest season next month, and its new host announced on Tuesday (October 22, 2013).

“The Singing Bee” will be hosted by Amy Perez and Roderick Paulate who are now back as Kapamilya artists.
The two Kapamilya artist also became an actress and actor as well as host in variety shows.
And as their latest comeback in ABS-CBN they already signed the contract today.
“Sa November na ‘yon. Abangan nila at malapit na ‘yon,” said Perez, who mentioned about the return of the game show in an earlier interview.
“Inaayos pa para ‘di kayo mabigla pero malapit na ‘yon,” Paulate added.
“The Singing Bee,” which ran for five successful seasons from April 2008 to February 2010, was previously hosted by actor Cesar Montano.
