The highly-anticipated sci-fi action movie, “Iron Man 3” breaks Philippines’ box office records as the movie grossed a total of P305.96 Millionn in just five days in Philippine Theaters nationwide.
The movie added another box-office record as the biggest opening weekend ever and the fastest time to reach the P300 million mark in local history. The movie had already broke the biggest box office income in opening day in Philippine cinema.

The announcement was made on Monday, April 29, 2013 by Victor R. Cabrera, Managing Director of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Philippines, the exclusive distributor of the film in the country.
The movie, Iron Man 3 have already smashed single-day box office records, it is now the biggest income Thursday income earners with P48 M, Friday, (48.41M); Saturday, P71.94 M and Sunday P74.63 M. All of the previous Philippine records were established last year by “Marvel’s The Avengers.”
Iron Man superstar Robert Downey Jr. embarked on his journey as the brilliant industrialist-hero Tony Stark along with Gwyneth Paltrow as they will unravel the secrets behind the destruction of Tony Stark’s creation.
Iron Man 3 is still showing in hundreds of theaters nationwide.
