According to the latest FIFA Official Rankings the Philippines is among the top three teams in Southeast Asia. Vietnam tops the rankings in the AFC although they failed to show some outstanding performance.
The Philippines currently ranked at 147th spot in the FIFA Worldwide rankings with a total of 176 points. Vietnam still leads with 134th overall rankings. Thailand followed Vietnam as the best team in Southeast Asia.
Current winner of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012, Singapore ranked fourth in Southeast Asia with overall rankings at 154th, followed by Indonesia at 156th and Malaysia at 158th.
