Typhoon Bopha Enters Philippines PAG-ASA Weather Updates

According to PAG-ASA, the typhoon Bopha or Typhoon Pablo was forecasted to be the most powerful to hit the country this year. It will enter the Philippine area of responsibility at around 6:00 PM on Sunday, located 900 kilometers east of Hinatuan City, Surigao del Sur.

The typhoon Pablo is expected to make landfall over Surigao del Norte on Tuesday morning. According to the latest PAG-ASA bulletin released on 4:00 PM, the typhoon was packing maximum sustained winds of 185 kph and gustiness of 220 kph.

PAG-ASA warned the areas that might be affected with floods must take necessary precautions. Areas that might be affected are Surigao, Davao, Compostela Valley, Misamis, Bukidnon, Lanao, Zamboanga, Leyte, Cebu, Bohol, Negros, Panay and Mindoro.

The typhoon with an international name Bopha is even stronger compared to typhoon Sendong which enters the Philippines with 65 kph but this super typhoon enters the Philippines with 165 kph a proof of a super typhoon.
