Smart Gilas vs. China Live on AKTV FIBA Asia Cup

The Philippine National Basketball Team will be tested today by no other than the toughest opponent in the tournament, the Chinese National Basketball Team. The game will start at around 3:30 PM (PST) live through AKTV with a replay at around 8:00 PM (PST).

Most of the Smart Gilas Pilipinas players were the same team that won the championship in the recently held, 34th Jones Cup wherein the Philippines was able to capture the championship for the fourth time in the Philippines history in the game.

The Philippines scoring was led by Team Captain LA Tenorio with 7 points followed by Ranidel de Ocampo with 7 points, Douthit and Norwood added with 6 points, and Fonacier contributed with 5 points.
