The viral video that was uploaded through Facebook and YouTube involving the intimate moments of Janelle and Ram Revilla was used to discredit the credibility of the star-witness and only survivor of Ram Revilla’s murder case.
The viral video which was first reported at pinoystarblog.com stated that Janelle Manahan and Ram Revilla were having an intimate moments during the time when the couple were together. The video which was later removed from Facebook and YouTube surfaced last December 29, 2011.
Janelle Manahan’s legal counsel which was lead by Atty. Argee Guevarra had confirmed also that the people who were involved in the video were Janelle and Ramgem. He further condemned that those who have uploaded the video.
Atty. Guevarra condemned the video and stated that the idea of posting the video was a way of discrediting her clients who acts as the star witness of the murder and frustrated murder case which was filed against Ramgen’s family.
The legal counsel strongly denies the accusations that they were involved in posting the video and call it an “absurd” idea. He stated further that the video portrays the “second (–foul word(s) removed–)(–foul word(s) removed–)ination of Ramgen” and “second frustrated murder of Janelle.” Guevarra stated.
Authorities were still investigating the case regarding the viral video of Janelle Manahan. There were some speculations that the video was taken from the laptop or cellphone of Ramgen after his death.
Senator Bong Revilla the victims brother and author of Anti-Voyeurism Law of 2009 (RA 9995) was also angry with the people who had uploaded the video.
