LAS VEGAS, Nevada – –Floyd Mayweather “ booed “ by the audience inside MGM Grand Arena when he was asked to explain what happened on the last round, but the people seemed not convinced.
Floyd Mayweather won via knock-out earning another world championship belt, but his victory was full of controversies.
Victor Ortiz was deducted 2 points for an intentional head bat; he hugged Mayweather and asked for an apology. The referee gave Ortiz a warning and while talking to the referee, he got hit by two punches that came from a blind side. When he got off, he was half conscious, dizzy and was shocked seeing the referee counting him a knock out score, but his legs turned to jelly and fainted again.

Who is to blame? Of course it would be Victor’s fault, he had a touch gloves already and that means the fight “goes on”. Who is to blame? The referee as well, he should not talk or get the boxer’s attention during a critical stage. What happened was Victor got distract when the referee reminded him the warning. Is Mayweather to blame? Professionally, not at all,he just used his instinct and it was a smart one.
During the interview, Floyd yelled to the commentator by not giving him a fair share, a fair judgment was all he wanted. The fans were shouting at him, but Floyd was a direct, he told HBO to fire the man. And if people did not like the fight, he is willing for a rematch.
Anyhow, Victor Ortiz accepted the fact that he was at fault, but denied that he intentionally did the head bat. He should have tightened his belt, he said.
