Dallas Mavericks breaks the tie with another win against the Miami Heat in a hotly contested game with a final score of  112-103 in favor of the Mavericks edging one win ahead for the much-coveted first ever championship ring.

Miami was leading during the first quarter of the game with a score of 31-30, while the rest of the quarters they were chasing the highly inspired Dallas Mavericks. Dallas had outscored the visiting Miami Heat for the rest of the quarters. During the second quarter they lead by 4 points, 2 points in the third and 4 points in the fourth.

Dirk Nowitzki after recovering from a 101 degrees fever once again dominated the scoring with 29 big points, 6 rebounds and 3 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists to lead the Dallas Mavericks one step closer to their goal of a championship ring for one of the city of the “The Lone Star State” Texas.

Coach Rick Carlisle of the Dallas Mavericks had succeeded their defensive adjustments against the Heat outscoring them and getting The Big Three of Miami struggling for their offense. The home court advantage also had a tremendous impact during the game. Supporters on the court keeps on chanting the word “Beat the Heat.”

Dallas had put an exclamation mark on their 52nd home game this season and their final game with an astounding performance dominating the Miami Heat and made a 3-2 advantage for the 2011 NBA Finals. They only need one game win for their first ever Larry O’Brien trophy.

During the fourth quarter of the game Miami had lead with a three-point advantage with their rally of 10-2, not until Jason Terry had sunk and three pointer and tied the score at 100 apiece. The points made by Jason Terry who came out from the bench was one of the most important points he contributed to the team. It was a part of his 21 points off the bench scoring for Dallas.

Another huge three-pointers in the last few minutes of the fourth quarter had put the Dallas on the lead and the leadership on the floor provided by the veteran Jason Kidd had put the Mavs in control of the game tempo.

The Miami Heat was unable to stop the surging performance of the Mavericks especially their bench scoring. LeBron James triple-double performance was just way short of bringing down the Dallas Mavericks. James had scored a total of 17 points, 10 rebounds and 10 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists. Chris Bosh contributed with 19 and Dwayne Wade added 23 points.

The Miami Heat now needs a two-game winning streak for the championship ring, the good news is they had only lost one game at home during the playoffs while the bad news is that the only lost they suffered came from the Dallas Mavericks during the Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
