“Osama Bin Laden Is Dead” Facebook page hastily grasped over 150,000 “likes” just a few hours after US President Barack Obama made a confirmation regarding the issue.
In less than 12 hours following the declaration, the Facebook page became viral as there were about 307,000 accumulated individuals joining the group. The number of group members is expected to increase in the next hours.
One of the group members named Wendy Tuttle posted on the group’s wall saying that Osama Bin Laden has “checked in” to hell. One had even baptized Osama Bin Laden with a name, “Osama Bin Gotten”.
Various messages have been posted regarding Osama’s part during the 9/11 attack as well as in other bombings that happened separately.
While most people from different parts of the world rejoice in Osama’s death, others fear regarding the possible consequences that may happen since there were other Al-Qaeda leaders remaining.
Facebook users began expressing their own opinion in a way of writing wall posts in connection to the reports published that Osama Bin Laden had died.
