Chito Miranda Thankful Despite Parokya's 'Kalat Kalat' Gig In LA

Chito Miranda narrated what happened during their recent gig in LA

Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda was still thankful despite the “kalat kalat” gig that they had in Los Angeles.

Chito would once in a while share stories of their performances on social media just like the time when he shared what happened during a gig wherein he lost his voice. The band vocalist expressed gratitude to his audience at that time for still enjoying the show.

In a recent LA gig, Chito is also thankful despite what happened. In his Instagram post, the singer said that there are really times when everything is not going well.

He said that at the very beginning of their gig in LA, he already felt that there was something off. Chito Miranda shared that usually before their performance, he would feel nervous.

“Habang nakatambay kami sa dressing room, sabi ko kay Vinch, ‘something’s weird…hindi ako kinakabahan,'” Chito said, adding that this was not the normal thing happening to him before every performance.

He shared that during their gig in San Francisco, he was really nervous and this is something good for him. “It makes me focus on what I need to do, and kinda puts me in the zone…yung tamang di na ko mapakali,” he explained, adding that this is the reason why their SF gig was perfect.

The band vocalist revealed that it was different in LA. He was not focused and he was struggling the whole set. He forgot the lyrics, he and Dindin Moreno, their drummer, made mistakes, and the guitar was not working but prior to the show they tested it and it was fine.

Chito added that there were moments when his microphone was not working properly. “Basta lahat sablay,” he said. Despite these unexpected struggles during the show, the vocalist said that they are still thankful.

“Mabuti nalang talaga sobrang bait ng mga taga-LA, at never nila pinaramdam sa amin kahit konti yung mga kakulangan namin bilang performers kahit kalat kalat kami kagabi,” Chito Miranda said.

He also said that the audience made them feel that they really enjoyed the concert. The Parokya ni Edgar vocalist promised that they will do better next time.
