Kylie Verzosa Plans To File Case vs News Outlet Due To ‘Malicious’ Headline

Kylie Verzosa is planning to take legal action against a news outlet

Actress Kylie Verzosa is willing to file a complaint against a news outlet for publishing an article with a “malicious” headline.

To recall, early this March, a news outlet published an article with the headline: “Kylie Verzosa inokray ng netizens mukha raw tuyot, retokada.” This did not sit well with the actress and she retweeted with the caption “These headlines are terrible! Calling my lawyer.

Fans of the actress showed support for her and criticized the news outlet. Her supporters also stressed that this is inappropriate.

In a recent interview on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s talk show Fast Talk, the actress discussed what she intends to do with this kind of “malicious” headline. Kylie shared that this is not an abrupt decision because she did research on this.

“I did my research, they posted it by this time mga 24 times already, and I don’t think that women shouldn’t even go through that kasi they call you different names,” the actress said.

Kylie also said that she did not in order for the news outlet to stop doing this kind of headline not just for her but for other people as well. “You know, in the States, when you write about the women like that, parang ipapasarado na…” she added. The actress is planning to file a case against the news outlet.

Based on the article in PEP, back in December 2020, the actress already mentioned the “malicious” headlines that the news outlet would release about her. She said that back then, her legal counsel already reached out to the news outlet but still nothing has changed.
