Ogie Diaz has this reaction to Liza Soberano’s fan’s claim
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz reacted to the statement that actress Liza Soberano’s fan had in line with her Fast Talk interview that she was “pinilit” or forced to enter showbiz.
During the said guesting on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s talk show, Liza clarified what she said in her This Is Me vlog. She also mentioned that she never dreamed of becoming an actress.
She also said that what she said in her vlog was just facts. The actress added that she did not have a normal childhood because, just like many young kids, she was pushed to be in showbiz in order to support her family.
Following that interview, which went viral, a fan shared a screenshot of Ogie’s past Instagram post. The post featured Liza’s first photo with her former talent manager. In the caption of the post, Ogie Diaz said that it is his favorite with the actress.
He said that it was very memorable for him because it was the first photo he had with Liza in 2012. Ogie shared that the actress initially wanted to be a model but they convinced her to be an actress. The talent manager used the exact term “kinumbinsi.”
Ogie also shared in his post that he is thankful that Liza was following his order for his sake and to improve herself as a newbie actress at that time.
A fan of the actress shared this on Twitter with the caption “pinilit lang syang maging artista. galing mismo kay @ogiediaz.”
The talent manager-vlogger retweeted this and his caption slammed the fan. “Wag mong ipilit na “pinilit.” Iba yung “pinilit” sa “kinumbinsi.” Pero kung trip mong paniwalaan yung katangahan mo, atih, ok. Gusto ko, happy ka,” he wrote.
In the comment section of his post, several netizens rallied behind Ogie Diaz and slammed the fan who did not know the difference between “convinced” and “forced.”
