Is it true that Sharon Cuneta received an offer to do a show with TVJ?
Megastar Sharon Cuneta recently expressed that she is open to working with other networks and it is rumored to be because of the offer she received to do a show with the iconic trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon also known as the TVJ.
To recall, rumors surfaced that the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga, which the TVJ has been hosting since day one, will undergo rebranding. With the rumored rebranding, the iconic trio will no longer be part of the show.
Based on the article in Bandera, it was said that Tony Tuviera of APT Entertainment, producer of Eat Bulaga, had a meeting with Eagle Broadcasting Corporation or Net25 together with TVJ.
Tito, Vic, and Joey have their respective shows on the said network. Reality Check, Tito’s show, started on March 4 while Vic’s show is Love, Bosleng, and Tali with his wife Pauleen Luna and their daughter Tali. Joey’s show is Oh No! It’s B.O! (Biro Only).
Rumor has it that APT Entertainment called the Megastar and made an offer and so she said she is open to working with other networks because she is now a “free agent.” She admitted that it has long been since her contract with ABS-CBN expired.
Sharon pointed out that she is thankful for the many years she spent with the Kapamilya network but she also needs to explore opportunities in other networks. However, she said that she has not talked yet with other stations.
“Wala pa akong nakakausap na kahit sino mula sa kahit anong istasyon, for the record lang po. I love you, ABS-CBN. My memory and loyalty are unquestionable,” Sharon Cuneta said.
