Kapamilya actor Coco Martin will topbill the TV adaptation of “Ang Probinsyano,” one of the classic films of the country’s most popular action start Fernando Poe Jr., in a highly anticipated re-make of the movie into a TV series. The official announcement of the unveiling of the new series was released to the media by ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment.
The blockbuster movie of “Da King Fernando Poe Jr.,” will be the newest FPJ classic that will be turned into a drama seris through the partnership of ABS-CBN and FPJ Productions.
The drama series will feature the heroism of the country’s policemen, who has a twin brother from the province. According to the Queen of Philippine Movies Susan Roces, her late husband Fernando Poe Jr., entrusted the library of all his films under FPJ Production to ABS-CBN President and CEO Charo Santos-Concio.
The highly anticipated TV series featuring Coco Martin will showcase his acting skills portraying the huge rule as Fernando Poe Jr. Aside from Coco Martin, the TV adaptation will also feature a powerhous cast of “Ang Probinsyano” namely Albert Martinez, Angeline Quinto, Arjo Atayde, Bela Padilla, and Jaime Fabregas.
The Coco Martin TV series is under the direction of Avel Sunpungco and Malu Sevilla. Watch out for Coco’s newest drama series, “Ang Probinsyano” on ABS-CBN.
