According to a PCSO post, a daycare instructor in General Trias City, Cavite, claimed an almost 24 million prize in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw on December 11, 2022. According to PCSO, the bettor personally took the check for $23,971,499 in its winning combination of 03-24-07-41-11-16.
“Before I don’t believe in the Lotto, now I can say it is true. I thank the Lord and of course, all the other people betting that made me also bet. I would like to thank PCSO. If it’s God’s timing, it will happen to you,” said the lotto winner.
According to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) statute, a 20% tax was withheld from the such prize. Meanwhile, a businessman from Sto Domingo, Nueva Ecija, is the lucky winner of the PCSO MegaLotto 6/45 jackpot reward of more than 114 million pesos.
The lucky winner of the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw on December 23, 2022, got 114,327,454.00. The new lottery billionaire claimed that he has been playing for 15 years and that his winning numbers are his personal favorites. The lottery winner expresses gratitude to the Lord for his victory.
“Lubos akong nagpapasalamat sa PCSO at sa Panginoon sa pagkapanalo ko sa lotto. Di ko po inasahan na sa ganitong panahon ko mapapanalunan ang jackpot, tamang-tama magpapasko pa yun. Hindi ko po maipaliwanag ang aking nararamdaman,” he said.
