Arnold Clavio Airs Frustration to Acquittal of DOJ Sec Remulla Son

Arnold Clavio Expresses Thoughts to the Acquittal of DOJ Sec Remulla Son

The veteran journalist Arnold Clavio seems furious about the court’s decision to acquit the son of Department of Justice (DOJ) secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla from a drug case.

Netizens and other public figures were left disappointed after Juanito Jose Remulla III, the son of Justice Secretary Boying Remulla, was cleared of all charges. Arnold Clavio, a seasoned broadcaster, was among several who expressed disappointment with the court’s ruling on Instagram.

Jose Remulla was apprehended by agents of the PDEA after accepting a shipment containing illegal items. However, the Las Pias Regional Trial Court Branch 197 found no proof that the influential public official’s son was aware that a parcel was being delivered to him.

Clavio used an art card with his upset avatar in his social media post to reflect his thoughts on the news. He even stated that the PDEA received information regarding Remulla from the United States.

“Ikaw ang umorder. Ikaw ang tumanggap. Ikaw ang nag-uwi sa bahay. Verdict : “ABSUWELTO” dahil sa kakulangan ng ebidensiya. Huwaw!!!” Clavio said.

He also considered that the PDEA erred in its operation against his kid. Wilkins Villanueva, the PDEA’s leader at the time, was replaced a few days after Jose Remulla was apprehended. It’s unclear whether Villanueva’s replacement was tied to the operation against the justice secretary’s son.
